uBreakiFix has teamed up with Google for every Pixel smartphone in existence. The repair expert also provides authorized out-of-warranty repairs for devices like the original Pixel, Pixel 2, and the Pixel 3. It’s worth pointing out that the repair team is currently going through a rebranding and will soon be known as Asurion Tech Repair and Solutions. Customers can get the Preferred Care warranty option from Google for added protection. Under this plan, a walk-in screen replacement or repair could only cost as much as $29, as 9to5Google notes.

The new Pixel phones use Gorilla Glass on the front and back

The Pixel 6 series introduces a new design for the lineup, including glass panels on the front and back. While the standard Pixel 6 uses Gorilla Glass 6 on the back, the Pixel 6 Pro packs Gorilla Glass Victus for the rear panel. Meanwhile, the display is covered by Gorilla Glass Victus on both devices. These are gorgeous-looking flagships, but it’s no secret that an accidental drop, even with Gorilla Glass, could cause significant damage to the phone. This is more so the case with people who don’t like protective cases on their devices. So it’s good to have a reliable repair partner like uBreakiFix to fix your phone. uBreakiFix introduced a “We Come to You” service for doorstep repairs last year amidst pandemic-related restrictions. In addition to repairing your Pixel phones, this company also fixes Samsung Galaxy devices and Apple iPhones. As for the Pixel 6 series, Google has a couple of other issues to deal with as devices start reaching customers. Multiple users have reported bugs/glitches with the new flagship. One of them includes a green flicker across the screen when holding down the power button. This appears to occur when the Pixel 6 is off, but some have reported seeing this issue even with the device powered on. It’s probably nothing major, but this is certainly not a good look for a new flagship lineup. Google is yet to respond to these bugs, but a clarification should be on the way.
