The Motorola Moto G52 is a budget smartphone with a 90Hz display
The Moto G52 has a rather modern design with a centered display camera hole, and thin bezels. Its bottom bezel is slightly thinner than the rest, though, but it’s not as thing as it is on some other budget phones. There are three cameras placed on the back of this device, along with Motorola’s logo. Well, there are actually two branding accents on the back. All the physical keys are on the right, and its power / lock button doubles as a fingerprint scanner. Do note that this is a 4G smartphone, though. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, and it comes in two variants, one with 4GB of RAM, and the other with 6GB of RAM. Those two models are equipped with 128GB and 256GB of storage, respectively. On the front, you’ll see a 6.6-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. That display offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, and we’re looking at a 402 ppi.
A 5,000mAh battery is included, along with 30W charging
A 5,000mAh battery is also a part of the package. The phone also supports 30W fast wired charging, Motorola’s ‘TurboPower’. Wireless charging is not supported, though, nor is reverse wireless charging. The device is IP52 certified, which means it has a water-repellent design. A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture, 0.64um pixel size) sits on the back, along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide / depth camera (f/2.2 aperture, 1.12um pixel size). The third camera is here, but we don’t know the details yet. The Motorola G52 measures 160.98 x 74.46 x 7.99mm, while it weighs 169 grams. The device is priced at €249.99, and it’ll become available in Europe in the coming weeks.
