Of course, the launch of Season 1 Reloaded introduces new playable content as well. So there’s a lot to really like about this update for the game. First, let’s dive into what you can expect from new patch for playable content. The big thing here is Call Of Duty’s first raid. Raids are new to the Call Of Duty franchise and they’re a co-op PvE-based game mode. They’re also part of Spec Ops. So you’ll squad up with two other players and head into a special mission with increased challenges. In addition to Raid episode 1, the new season also introduces Shipment. The latest multiplayer map. Lastly, there’s also a new Warzone 2.0 mode called the Warzone Cup. Think Rocket League but inside Call Of Duty. You can ride around on buggies and try to score by knocking the ball into the goal.

Season 1 Reloaded in Modern Warfare II fixes XP tokens

One of the bigger issues players have had in Modern Warfare II since it launched was the lack of a timer on double XP tokens. This update fixes that. Players will finally be able to see the remaining time on used double XP tokens as long as they’re still on the lobby screen. This way you can be absolutely sure you aren’t popping another when you still have time left. Forget to pop a double XP token before a match started? Not a problem. The game now lets you pop double XP tokens from the pause menu inside matches. The quality of life updates don’t stop there either. You can no longer accidentally pop a token during a double XP event. And that’s a huge bonus since one of those events has just started. For PlayStation players, double XP is now live until the morning of December 15 at 10am Pacific. This opens up to players on all platforms at the same time alongside double weapon XP. And the double XP weekend lasts until December at 10am Pacific. Which is Monday. So, save those tokens until next week. And dive in from today to start leveling up weapons faster. You can read about all the changes with this patch in the official blog post.
