According to the new report, the November SMR (security maintenance release) is currently rolling out to the LTE variants of the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S7+. The update bumps the firmware version of the devices to T875XXS2BUK2 and T975XXU2BUK6 respectively. While the former is picking up the new software update in the European region, that for the latter is available to users in the UAE. You can expect the rollout to reach more markets in the coming days and weeks. Samsung also launched the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S7+ in Wi-Fi-only and 5G variants. Those tablets have yet to receive this month’s security update. But it shouldn’t be a very long wait now. As for the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, the latest SMR is rolling out with firmware version T595XXS4CUK1. The update is currently available in the UK. Lastly, the November security update is hitting the Galaxy Tab Active 3 in Hong Kong. The new software update for the rugged tablet comes with firmware version T575XXS3BUK1. Both devices should soon start receiving this month’s SMR in other markets as well. We don’t have a changelog handy to confirm the contents of the latest update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and the Galaxy Tab Active 3. But don’t be hopeful of any major new features. We are only expecting the privacy and security fixes from Google and Samsung that are part of the new SMR. The Korean firm has already confirmed that this month’s security patch fixes more than 50 vulnerabilities. Some of them were of critical severity.

November update reaches a bunch of Samsung Galaxy tablets

Samsung began rolling out the November security update to its devices in the last week of October. Over the past four weeks, the Korean company has seeded the new SMR to dozens of Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and the Galaxy Tab Active 3 are the latest to join the party. Meanwhile, Samsung has already released the December security update. The latest One UI 4.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 comes with next month’s SMR. It should soon be available to devices running stable One UI builds as well. We will keep you posted.
